So I have a cold, or fucking allergies, I don't know. The doctor gave me some awesome chewable tablets though, so I just had one of those and hopefully I'll start feeling better.
I don't want to be feeling crappy all week, because I really need to work. But fuck, I can't work in a dusty environment if I'm feeling like this, especially if my throat is all scratchy feeling.
So, I might not get around to posting any new photos. Well, I won't actually be taking any new photos. I still have a bunch that I haven't worked on yet, so if I get super bored laying around the house all day and feel up to it, you might see some new things.

You'll definitely want to view these puppies on black (if you click on the photo, it'll take you to Flickr where it'll give you the option to "view on black".
I'm especially fond of the Street Lights and Windows. They just evoke a certain "old" feeling to them, and make me think nothing but good thoughts. It really felt like I was living in the 60s when I took these pictures, then when I did the post-processing it felt even more so, while listening to old jazz from the 60s, I got completed transported and entranced and just got into this "zone". It was utterly amazing. I wish every photoshoot was like this.

So I snuck into ACL all weekend. It's just too easy.
I saw:
Mates of State
David Byrne
Mars Volta (first song, which was about 30 minutes long)
Beck (Really amazing, he knows how to make his songs sound so much better live)
Silversun Pickups (a bit)
Heartless Bastards
The Raconteurs (I will say this, probably one of the best shows I've ever seen. Rich Kid Blues and You Don't Understand Me felt like we were being transported back into the 70s or something. Absolutely stunning.)
Foo Fighters (First 30 mins or so, then I had enough. Had a super fun time getting out of the crowd from being about 50 feet from the damn stage.)

I don't usually post full on shots of my face, but here I am.
Yes, I think this picture is a bit "snapshotty" but at the same time it feels a bit artsy to me. And yes, my nose is the focus of the shot, and it's not that attractive of a nose. But I really don't care at this point. I kind of wanted my skin to have an aged appearance, and I liked the way my hair looked. It also kind of looks like it was taken back in the 50s/60s or something.
My favorite thing is the tiny bit of hair in the middle of the photograph, how it's almost the focus of the whole thing.
